quantUM

quantUM refers to the group of people conducting research on quantum computing at, or in connection with, Universidade do Minho.

quantUM merges ‘quantum’ with the University’s acronym ‘UM’.

quantUM is a relatively recent informal research group, bringing together academic staff and post graduate PhD and MsC students, from several departments.

quantUM main interests are related to the development of Quantum Software Engineering as a discipline for the specification, analysis, design, optimization and verification of quantum algorithms and software systems.

quantUM maintains very strong connections with INESC TEC and INL.
